By Plane:
We recommend you fly into Faro International Airport (FAO). If you choose to fly into a different airport as your final destination, please note you will need to find your own transport to the Retreat Center.
Faro Airport Shuttle Service:
Group shuttle pickup from and to FAO airport on April 6th and April 12th is included in your payment.
Shuttle service pick up times are as follows:
- From FAO to the retreat center, 2:30pm & 4:00 pm
- From retreat center to FAO, 9:00am & 10:30am
Please note the drive is approximately 1.5 hours.
The Education Director, Madalena, will be in touch asking if you will need a transfer. Please be mindful of our schedule when booking flights. *We recommend a flight that lands before 1:30pm.
Check In/Check Out:
- Check in begins at 4pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
- Dinner is at 6:30-8:00pm
- The Opening Ceremony will be at 8:30pm.
- Check-out is by 10:30am on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
All participants are required to be present from the Opening Ceremony on April 6th (starts at 8:30pm) through the end of the Closing Ceremony on April 11th (ends at approx 7:30pm)
By Car:
Uber Service - Uber Service - You can download the app to your phone and connect it with your bank card. In some more remote areas, it takes a while to find a driver, note that journeys from Faro Airport to the Retreat center prices can vary between $70 to $100. You can download the app to your phone.
Rental Cars:
If you wish to rent a car, you can do so directly at Faro International Airport.
Arriving:
If you are someone who needs extra time to adjust to new surroundings or travel, you might consider booking an additional night at a hotel or Airbnb before the retreat begins.

All participants must share their travel itineraries with the Education Director by March 1st, 2025.
All our meals will be vegetarian made from local produce. Please submit any dietary allergies during registration. If you did not, please let us know of any restrictions as soon as possible by emailing info@mediumfleur.com

Daily high temperature is forecasted to reach 71°F on average, while the low temperatures are expected to be no lower than 57°F. The daily temperature is 62°F on average.
What will be included with the room?
A mini fridge, shampoo and body lotion on each shower, towels for body and face hairdryer, one glass water bottle per room.
2 hairdryers and extra blankets are available at reception upon request.
Are yoga mats provided?

Is laundry service available?
There’s no laundry service available on site.
What is included?
All classes, Q&A, meditations, embodiment classes, and activities, physical workbook to accompany all teachings and retreat follow-up integration techniques, freshly prepared vegetarian meals with local produce, Travel to/from ABQ airport on April 6th and 12th, and lodging at the retreat center. As a reminder, airfare and other travel expenses are not included in the cost.
Is pricing in US dollars?
Yes, pricing listed on our website is in US dollars.
Will there be alcohol?
Alcohol is not provided or available with meals.
Is there a vegetarian option for food?
Yes, all meals offered at Monte Velho Retreat Center will be vegetarian. We can create vegan options, if needed. Please be sure to input your dietary restrictions during registration.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Wi-fi is available in the dining hall. Wi-fi signals get weaker outside that area.
Is there parking at the retreat center?
Yes, there is accessible parking and entry into the Retreat Center.
Can I bring a guest?
This retreat is designed to foster a focused and intimate experience for registered participants. To ensure the best environment for everyone, only registered participants are allowed to stay on the premises. If you wish to go to the retreat with a partner/friend and stay in the same room, you may do so. Please email info@mediumfleur.com to discuss options.
I want to join the retreat, what are my next steps?
Make your $500 deposit using the link below. Our Education Director will reach out with registration paperwork, including a consent form and information form for you to fill out. Upon completion, she will be in touch about payment schedule, travel itinerary, and more. Once you receive the consent form, please read it carefully and submit it within 2 weeks of receiving to ensure you do not forfeit your spot. If we do not hear from you for 30 days, you will forfeit your spot.
What is the cancellation policy?
Medium Fleur Inc. does not offer refunds for the deposit for any reason, nor is the deposit transferable to other retreat dates.
If you should need to cancel prior to February 6, 2025, the full payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment.
Should you need to cancel on or after February 6, 2024, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full and no refund will be issued, nor will your payment carry over to future retreat dates.
Medium Fleur Inc. is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive covid test, extended lodging, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! Once you pay the non-refundable $500 deposit to reserve your spot, our team will be in touch about payment options and plans to set something up that works best for you.
If you choose to pay by installments, the dates to make each payment need to be respected and paid on time, as previously agreed and defined with a member of Fleur's team.
When is my remainder due?
If you choose to pay via installments, all payments are due by February 20th, 2025
If you choose to pay in full, all payments are due by February 6th, 2025.
If you do not pay by the time agreed above you forfeit your spot with no refund.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is mandatory for every participant not currently residing in Portugal and documentation must be sent to the Education Director by March 1st, 2025.
Will I need a visa or valid passport?
Countries from North America, Oceania, and some countries from Asia and Latin America don’t need a visa to visit Portugal. To know which countries need to apply for a Schengen Visa please click here.
If you are traveling with a passport, please be sure to check that it is valid for the duration of the visit. Many countries have a 6-month rule, which you can read about here.
